Reasons for entry in: Sport
I was a breakfast radio host and our show format was generally music/magazine style but with a certain amount of sports content thrown in. Before Broadcasting I had/have a significant sports background including coaching professionally and working in the fitness industry. I have a good knowledge of all sports and am passionate about sport. I am comfortable interviewing etc elite sports people.

Reasons for entry in: Lifestyle
I have a wide life-experience and my personality is easy going which translates well on-air in this area. Previously I have presented and produced movie reviews, game reviews, nutritional/exercise components, event pieces, live radio competitions, interviews, gadget reviews etc...

Previous Presenting Work:
I was a presenter on a New Zealand Radio nationwide breakfast show for 2 years.
Over an 8 year period I have presented various radio program components, live crosses, and commercial reads.

Before coming to the UK in July 2006, I had just begun to do TV presenting

Interests / Passions:
I am a keen and competent sportsman. My primary sports are football, tennis, windsurfing/yachting, golf, cricket.
I play drums and write songs. I am currently learning piano and guitar.
I am a professional audio engineer and have recently produced two singles for my band.
I have directed and produced a 30 minute "short film" over the last few years in my spare time(ha!!). I love the production side of things!!

Comments:
I am currently working as a production manager, but am really keen to get back to presenting. I am a born communicator and have developed this gifting personally and professionally over the years. I came to the UK from NZ mid 2006 to expand my presenting career but have found it impossible to break in. I feel I have much to offer and know from professional experience that I can form a real bond with an audience.

Character and Personality:

I have had a solid family upbringing and have always had the privilege of having a large and diverse circle of friends. Through these relationships I have grown strong social skills and an ethic of respect towards others.

My varied work, church, sporting and educational experience has provided me with an invaluable foundation on which I have developed extensive interpersonal and creative abilities. I am an excellent communicator and am a natural and experienced leader.

I am a man of my word, sincere and passionate about things I believe are worthwhile. I am stable, well balanced, multi talented and have a real zest for life and new challenges. I am a hard and precise worker, I am not a quitter and I love a good laugh.

Whether working or playing, I only operate in top gear.
