Interests / Passions:
My prime interest and passion is my work as a presenter and narrator... but don't tell my wife! Animals, wildlife and environmental protection. Clay Target shooting, set a world record as member of British International Trap Team. Golf.

Comments:
Derek has lived in 8 countries, traveled in 75. He was an RAF Officer, ad agency AE, print & TV journalist... Frankly Partridge, was Rhodesia's most popular live magazine show. He was head news anchor, presented Kwhizz Kids and Message to the Nation specials. Mike Hart-Jones, head of RTV, wrote the Directors that Derek's fan mail, from all races and ages, was unprecedented in his ten years. In the 1960s Derek was CEO of Conservation Tools & Technology and wrote about wildlife conservation, environmental protection & pollution. He was a columnist and feature writer on the Daily Express Group's Investors' Guide. MC for many different events. Founded several business enterprises, Fellow of the British Institute of Directors.
